Push notifications (if you enable them)
If you turn on push notifications — for example, after installing The Shoe Nerds to your home screen — your browser or device creates a push "subscription" that we store so we can send you notifications. This subscription consists of:
- A unique endpoint URL provided by your browser or device's push service
- Public encryption keys used to deliver the notification securely to your device
- Your browser/device type (so you can manage notifications per device)
Push notifications are delivered through the push service operated by your browser or operating system vendor (for example, Apple, Google, or Mozilla). Notification content is encrypted in transit.
